DFGS Overview

•       Fifteen floors

•       One tenant, NY Times

                         (14 & 15 are cafeteria)

•       Six total cars in bank

•       Four DFRU’s at lobby, 14 & 15

•       Two DFRU’s at floors 2-13

Group Dispatching Performance

•       Bank A receives an average of 12,000 calls a day and 99% of the calls are answered in less than 30 seconds.

Bank B – Floors G, 14-28

•          One tenant, NY Times (14 & 15 are cafeteria)

•          Six total cars in bank

•          Four DFRU’s at lobby, 14 & 15

•          Two DFRU’s at floors 16-28

Bank C – Floors G, 28-43

•          Multiple tenants (one tenant per floor)

•          Eight total cars in bank

Additional information:

DFRU is a flush-mounted LCD monitor with separate floor buttons and handicap button in-car Destination Floor Indication only. There are car call buttons behind a locked panel.

Location: Seattle, WA

Type: Modernization

DFGS Overview

•       Eight total cars in bank (one of which is a service/freight car)

•       Four DFRU’s at lobby

•       Two DFRU’s at floors 2-21

•       One DFRU at P1 (garage) for service car

Group Dispatching Performance

•       This bank receives an average of 3,500 calls a day and the average wait time for passengers is less than 20   

         seconds.

Multiple Tenants

•       EPA has four floors

•       Most tenants share ½of a floor or have a single floor

DRFU is a surface-mounted touchscreen with separate Handicap button. Destination Floor

Indication above car entrances are at the lobby only. Car call buttons in car illuminate to show

destination. There is a card reader in the car to latch call when in Card Reader Mode.

•       Two banks sharing the same lobby/1 DFGS

•       Four total cars in Bank A, one of which is a passenger/service car.

•       Passenger cars serve lobby-5

•       Three total cars in Bank B, service lobby, 6-29

•       4 DFRU’s at lobby

•       One DFRU at floors 2-21

•       One DFRU at two floors below lobby for passenger/service car

•       Multiple tenants

Additional information:

DFRU is a flush-mounted touchscreen with separate Handicap button. There are also three free-standing kiosk DFRU’s in the entrance of the lobby. Destination Floor Indication in car entrance jamb at the lobby only. There are car call buttons behind locked panel. The car readers at the DFRU are used to determine accessible floors.
